Q1. How to enjoy free chats and calls?

A1. In order to make free calls the other person has to have the SIPVOX app installed on his/her smartphone or tablet or PC. Those friends who use SIPVOX will appear with a status icon next to their picture in the Contacts menu in SIPVOX. The icon show presence and also indicate that you can use all free communication features like free call, free video, free chat and sending attachments. If you do not see any contact with the status icon it means that no one from your contacts uses SIPVOX yet. In this case just let your friends know about SIPVOX, when they join to SIPVOX you will be instantly notified and they will appear as SIPVOX contact.

Q2. How to make calls to non SIPVOX Users?

A2. SIPVOX OUT is our service for calling to non SIPVOX numbers which can be regular mobile and landline numbers. We try to offer the most competitive rates while ensuring decent quality. To use SIPVOX OUT, you need to top up your account first. Also before you make a call you can see information about the cost of the call per minute, it is shown in dollars. Billing is per minute.

Q3. How to earn credit?

A3. Invite your friends to join SIPVOX. Once they join ask them to go to Share your love menu and there to choose your contact as the person who invited them. You will get US$0.20 from each person who confirmed that were invited by you.

Q4. Why do you need my phone number?

A4. It is basically to make the registration process as easy as possible, you can use your phone number as your login to the service, also others who have your number in their Contacts on their phones will be immediately notified that you are a SIPVOX user now. Since then next to your Contact name in their phone there will be the SIPVOX status icon. If you do not want to register using your number you can create a SIPVOX ID, it is just a service username like in Skype. Others will be able to call you if you give them your SIPVOX ID.

Q5. How to find friends who also use SIPVOX?

A5. Using “Find friends” option, you can easily search for your friends using their email, password or nickname.

Q6. How to find my friend who also uses SIPVOX?

A6. Go to Find friends menu and there you can search for users by name, SIPVOX ID, phone number or email address. How your friend can be found depends on his/her settings in My profile section. Also to let other find you do not forget to fill relevant fields in your My Profile menu in SIPVOX.

Q7. Is there a SIPVOX version for Windows or Mac?

Q8. Can I use SIPVOX on a tablet?

A8. Yes, with SIPVOX for tablet, you can make free voice calls and video calls, call mobiles and landlines, send instant messages, and share files with other people on SIPVOX.

Q9. Do I have to allow for uploading my phone contacts?

A9. No, it is not necessary. Uploading the Contacts serves two things, one is that the phone numbers and emails are checked if they are registered in SIPVOX service. If they are they will be automatically shown in your Contacts as SIPVOX users. If you do not allow still you can add SIPVOX users manually using Find a user menu.

Q10. SIPVOX OUT – Where can I see the rates?

A10. After you have key in your destination number, rate will display for destination number. For all rates you can check in SIPVOX App, Menu/Account/Rates or on our website: https://www.sipvox.com/sipvoxapps-rates/

Q11. How do you bill calls?

A11. It is per minutes, in dollars, rates are shown per minute.

Q12. How can I recharge my account?

A12. You can top up your account directly through the application on your device or our website: https://www.sipvox.com/sipvoxapps-topup/

Q13. What are phone number prices?

From $9/3 months per SIPVOX number, you can view and purchase directly at SIPVOX Apps on your mobile instantly by selecting Menu/Account/Numbers/Country/Area/Period/Buy Number. Credits will be deducted directly from your prepaid credit.

Q14. How to share one SIPVOX account on two or more devices?

A14. After setting your own password in “My profile”, you will then login on two or more devices, thanks to SIPVOX ID/phone number and password.

Q15. What are the Special Promotion packages?

A15. It’s a Special Sales Promotion of 1000 minutes to call countries of your choice available at Menu/Account/Plans on your mobile phones. Special Promotion Packages save up to 50% off Retail Price. Remember – calling SIPVOX to SIPVOX users is always FREE.

Q16. Do I have topup every month?

A16. No, It is Pay As You Use. Each Special Promotion Package lasts for 30 days and expires after that period with no further costs. Normal Prepaid Credit expired in 6 months.
